WEEEH JUNE!

Wow just Wow! (and not in a positive way at all)

You have been tumultuous, to say the least. As a kenyan, as an entrepreneur, as a friend, and as a daughter, you have truly tried and tested me and you will surely be remembered.

Personally, June was a month of navigating significant family adjustments. I tried to be as present as possible and  I’m still processing these changes day by day, reflecting on what the future holds and how my actions will impact my family.

.As a country, we have experienced abductions, the deaths of children and young people, and the loss of innocent lives which has caused so much pain and frustration more than we could imagine. This collective grief has deeply affected many, leaving a heavy cloud of sorrow hanging over us all.

And as if that wasn’t enough, ending the month with the sudden death of a childhood friend just shattered my heart. A young soul gone too soon. Yet, even in these dark times. I count it a privilege to have the chance to lament to God, to ask questions, and to be angry, but also to believe He is all-knowing, and that everything works out for our good believing that He is still God, the Restorer, the Protector, and the Comforter.

As I reflect on the first half of the year, I can't help but feel a mix of emotions. June was tough, no doubt about it but even though June threw some curveballs our way, I'm reminding myself that there were good times too. Looking back at the entire first half of the year, I can recall moments of pure joy and gratitude. These are the moments I want to cherish and hold onto.

So, as we turn the page to July, I'm choosing to embrace the joy that lies ahead. Yes, there might be more challenges, but there will also be laughter, love, and new experiences. Here's to the next six months. May they bring growth, happiness, and pleasant surprises. And if things get tough again, let’s remember that we’ve got the strength to weather any storm. After all, we’ve made it this far, haven't we?

June, you have tested us but you have also taught us And for that, we are thankful.

May July be Joyous!

Until next time,

xxxx
